Our Story

Grassroots was created from a simple belief: children were never meant to fit inside a single “box” of education. Every child learns differently, thinks differently, creates differently, and dreams differently — so learning should reflect those differences instead of limiting them.

With experience teaching and working with children of all ages and learning styles, our educators saw firsthand that many students thrive when given opportunities to move, create, collaborate, explore, and learn through meaningful experiences. Those experiences inspired a different approach to education — one that allows children to learn in the ways that work best for them. At Grassroots, we believe education should be hands-on, project-based, and connected to real life.

Children learn best when they are building, creating, questioning, problem-solving, and actively participating in their learning journey. Whether through STEM projects, art, entrepreneurship, gardening, cooking, teamwork, or community involvement, students develop confidence and real-world skills that prepare them for life beyond the classroom. Grassroots is more than a learning program — it is a community where children are encouraged to be curious, creative, capable, and uniquely themselves.

Classrooms

Bright and cozy hubs for focused discovery and collaboration. Our flexible seating lets students choose the best spot to sparkle and learn.

STEM Studio

The lab for future inventors and problem-solvers. Kids build robots, run experiments, and explore the wonders of technology and engineering.

A delicious workshop where math and science come to life! Students measure, mix, and create tasty treats while learning life skills.

At Grassroots, our teachers bring far more than classroom experience — they bring passion, creativity, leadership, and a deep understanding of how children learn best. Our diverse team is made up of educators with backgrounds in early childhood education, STEM, business, arts, technology, special education, and community leadership. This variety of expertise allows us to create meaningful learning experiences that reach every child in unique and engaging ways. Our teachers are mentors, innovators, problem-solvers, and lifelong learners who work together to build an environment where children feel safe, inspired, and empowered. From hands-on science experiments and creative arts to literacy development, social-emotional learning, and real-world life skills, our staff uses their individual strengths to help every child grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
